Personalised Shot Glasses do not just have to be used to drink alcohol. In fact they have a lot of alternative uses. In our next couple of posts we’ll be talking about the unusual uses of a shot glass. In today’s post though, I’ll be explaining to you how you can use a shot glass to create a scented candle.
You will need:
Candle Wax (you could use left over candles)
Personalised Shot Glasses (you can order these from GiftsOnline4U)
1) To make your shot glass candle you will first need to measure out the length of your wick. Glue the wick to the base of the shot glass.
2) Melt your candle wax in a heavy base pan and once it has melted add your lavendar scent (you can add any scent that you would like).
3) Pour the melted candle wax into your personalised shot glass and then wait for it to set.
4) Just before the wax has completely set, adjust the wick so that is in the centre of the candle!
In this tutorial I have just use uncoloured candle wax, but you can add colour to your candle by use candle dye (which can be obtained in craft stores).
And there you have it! This is a great idea if you want to make your personalised shot glasses even more personal.
